Meteorite dials for two new Omega Speedmaster Moonphase
Omega's Speedmaster collection is deeply rooted in space exploration. The latest addition to the Speedmaster line—two Moonphase Meteorite models—exemplifies this, paying homage to its lunar legacy.
Aesthetics
The new Speedmaster Moonphase Meteorite watches feature 43mm stainless steel cases with dial options in black or gray meteorite. The black-dial version has polished white gold hands and hour markers.
The gray version pairs blue PVD-coated gold hands with a matching blue bezel.
Both models incorporate a ceramic bezel with a white enamel tachymeter scale. The moons on the 6 o’clock sub-dial are crafted from lunar meteorites, and the starry sky reproduces the night of the Apollo 11 Moon landing.
Both are equipped with the "Nixon" bracelet, featuring a mix of brushed and polished links.
Movement
The watches are powered by Omega’s new hand-wound caliber 9914, a Master Chronometer-certified movement with a power reserve of 60 hours. The movement’s decoration, visible through the sapphire case back, includes Geneva waves in Arabesque, rhodium-plated bridges.
The moonphase complication presents the lunar phases for both hemispheres, alongside sub-dials for chronograph minutes, hours, and seconds.
Availability & Pricing
The new Omega Speedmaster Moonphase Meteorite models are priced at €19,000 (including VAT)
