A new Tudor Black Bay Chrono: Now in Flamingo blue

Tudor has gained a reputation for following recipes (Rolex ones) that work and adding subtle and vibrant elements. The new Black Bay Chrono Flamingo Blue offers a reasonable, yet unexpected for me, continuation for the dynamic Black Bay Chrono series.

Aesthetics

This new reference features a turquoise (similar to typical Tiffanys') dial that gives me a sort of summery vibe. Its brightness contrasts sharply with black aluminum tachymeter scales and black sub-counters for the chronograph and small seconds.

The watch retains its 41mm steel case with brushed and polished aluminum and the jubilee bracelet. With a 14.2mm height, it is not thin at all but still wears comfortably.Movement

It is powered by the MT5813 calibre, a manufacture movement based on Breitling B01. This COSC-certified chronograph movement features a 70-hour power reserve ensuring performance and reliability.
