Leadership Shakeup at Richemont: New CEOs for Vacheron Constantin and Jaeger-LeCoultre
Yesterday 29th November, swiss luxury giant Richemont has announced significant leadership changes for two of its most iconic watchmaking brands.
Jérôme Lambert returns as CEO of Jaeger-LeCoultre, a position he held from 2002 to 2013, while Laurent Perves has been named CEO of Vacheron Constantin, effective January 1st, 2025:
- Lambert, previously Richemont’s Chief Executive Officer and Chief Operating Officer, is expected to bring renewed energy to Jaeger-LeCoultre, drawing on his successful past role that saw notable innovation and growth for the brand
- Laurent Perves’ appointment comes as Vacheron Constantin prepares to celebrate its 270th anniversary in 2025. Perves has held key roles as Chief Marketing Officer and Chief Commercial Officer at the brand so he knows the company well.
These changes follow earlier reshuffles that within Richemont that I already discussed this year. These include Nicolas Bos’ move from CEO of Van Cleef & Arpels to Richemont CEO, and Louis Ferla’s transition from Vacheron Constantin to Cartier.
Above you see Louis Ferla who was previously heading VC and is now CEO of Cartier. On the right, Laurent Perves who is the new CEO of Vacheron
The appointments signal Richemont’s commitment to leveraging experienced leadership to steer its prestigious maisons into a new era of excellence.
