I have seen the Louis Erard "brand", under Manuel Emch's leadership, transition from a not-very-known Swiss watchmaker into an independent powerhouse that blends craftsmanship with contemporary artistry.
He is renowned for collaborations with artists, designers, and watchmakers and because the brand democratized intriguing designs including handcrafted dials, like the Grand Feu enamel ones.
Their Regulator model, inspired by 18th-century master clocks, has become a versatile canvas for collaborations including this last iteration below with Swiss artist Sylvie Fleury.

Aesthetics
The Louis Erard Regulator x Sylvie Fleury bursts with bold, vibrant pink visuals. Inspired by Fleury’s abstract makeup compact artworks, the 39mm watch features a black PVD stainless steel case paired with a glossy black patent leather strap, reminiscent of lacquered cosmetic cases.

The lacquered hands match each sub-dial which IMO makes it a bit difficult to read the time, while the Louis Erard logo and Fleury’s signature sit at 3 and 9 o’clock, respectively, completing quite an artful design.
Movement
The very reliable Sellita SW266-1 automatic movement offers a 38-hour power reserve. The case back features a black crystal that reveals a little bit about the movement.
