Tissot unveils new green Dials for the PRX and Powermatic 80
Tissot has introduced new green dial versions of its popular PRX Automatic Chronograph and Powermatic 80 models. They are introducing dark green for the PRX Automatic Chronograph and light green for the PRX Powermatic 80. The PRX series which has been available for a while in both quartz and mechanical variants, has become a significant success for the brand. With these new dial variations they will surely enhance the appeal of the PRX collection.
Aesthetics
Nothing spectacularly new. The new Tissot PRX Automatic Chronograph retains its shape but now features a dark green dial with a unique shimmer that changes depending on the light, giving it a dynamic appearance. This model has a 42mm stainless steel case, a waffle dial pattern, and an integrated bracelet with a quick-release system.
The PRX Powermatic 80 models come in 35mm and 40mm sizes with light green dials, described as "seafoam" green, featuring the same waffle pattern. Both models have large hands and indices treated with white Super-LumiNova for enhanced readability and come with an integrated stainless steel bracelet.
Movement
The PRX Automatic Chronograph is powered by the ETA A05.H31 caliber, a modern iteration of the Valjoux 7753. This automatic chronograph movement offers a 60-hour power reserve.
The PRX Powermatic 80 models are equipped with the Powermatic 80 movement, which as expected provides an 80-hour power reserve.
