Tissot Le Locle Powermatic 80 - 20th Anniversary Edition
Tissot was founded in 1853 in Le Locle, Switzerland. The brand released the Le Locle collection in 2003 to celebrate its 150th anniversary. Twenty years later, the brand honors this classic collection with a special edition watch.
Aesthetics
The 39mm case combines polished stainless steel with vertically-brushed flanks, offering a sleek look with the classic tissot charm. The dial boasts an embossed Clous de Paris pattern, sunray-brushed hour chapter ring, and blue Roman numerals and leaf-shaped hands. It's paired with a 7-link steel bracelet and an additional blue leather strap for more comfort.
Movement
Inside ticks the Powermatic 80, an evolved version of the ETA 2824 with a reworked kinetic chain, a 3Hz frequency, and an 80-hour power reserve. The movement also features a Nivachron hairspring for improved anti-magnetic properties.
Availability & Pricing
This special, yet non-limited edition, is now available from Tissot and its retailers. The watch is priced at €775.
