H. Moser & Cie release the Streamliner Concept Minute Repeater Tourbillon

H. Moser & Cie was established with a focus on producing high-quality mechanical that display minimalism and technical prowess. Their Streamliner collection, launched in 2019, exemplifies this by offering sophisticated complications within a sporty design. The Streamliner line, starting with a flyback chronograph, has expanded to include complex features like perpetual calendars and tourbillons.

The new Streamliner Concept Minute Repeater Tourbillon epitomises H. Moser & Cie's minimalist design philosophy.

Aesthetics

Its dial, made of Grand Feu enamel in Aqua Blue, features a hammered texture and a signature fumé gradient effect, achieved through the application and kiln-firing of four different blue pigments. The dial is devoid of logos, indices, or inscriptions, focusing attention on the visible mechanics of the minute repeater and flying tourbillon. The stainless steel case, with its cushion shape and integrated bracelet, adheres to the fluid, aerodynamic design of the Streamliner family. Vertical satin-brushed finishes and polished bevels enhance its sleek appearance, while the ergonomic design ensures comfort and elegance.

Movement

At the heart of the Streamliner Concept Minute Repeater Tourbillon is the in-house manual-winding caliber HMC 905. The meticulously hand-finished movement is visible through the sapphire caseback, revealing the anthracite-finished bridges with Moser's distinctive double stripes and skeletonized components.

The movement powers the one-minute flying tourbillon and minute repeater, and offers a substantial power reserve of 90 hours. The brand explains that integrating these mechanisms within the sleek design required widening the case to optimise the acoustics of the chiming gongs and accommodate the intricate movement.

Availability & Pricing

Only 50 pieces available and each one is priced at CHF 269,000 (approximately €274,000. Besides the hefty price tag, it won´t be easy to get one.
