Jacob & Co. Bugatti Tourbillon: Expected hyper impressive design

Jacob & Co. captures attention on the world’s most famous wrists and glamorous stages. Founded by Jacob Arabo, the brand is known for blending fashion and highly complex horological craftsmanship. The brand’s business strategy revolves around creating spectacular wristpieces that have demonstrated a clear appeal to celebrities and high-profile clients. Their horological ambition is evident in his partnership with Bugatti, the world leading hypercar manufacturer

Jacob & Co. latest release is the Bugatti Tourbillon, known after Bugatti´s new model, which boasts a W-shaped engine-block automaton, merging the worlds of high-performance automotive engineering and cutting-edge watchmaking.

Today we discuss the initial black DLC titanium version which will be limited to 150 pieces out of the total 250 that will be available. More about this is discussed in the latest section.

Aesthetics

The new Bugatti Tourbillon boasts a striking design with measurements of 52mm x 44mm x 15mm.

The black DLC-coated Grade 5 titanium case is inspired by the Bugatti hypercar, featuring elements like the car's front grill and side radiator inlets rendered in sapphire crystal. The transparent design allows a view of the intricate technical details of the movement. The strap is made from interchangeable black rubber.

The unique time display includes a double retrograde hour and minute display, and dual power reserve indicators for both the movement and the miniature engine.

Movement

The Bugatti Tourbillon is powered by a manual-winding JCAM55 movement with a 48-hour power reserve. As expected after reading its name, it features a tourbillon, more specifically a 30-second flying tourbillon. The movement replicates the car's engine V16 in motion with functional pistons and a crankshaft.

Availability & Pricing

This new watch is a limited edition with only 250 pieces available, same as the units of Bugatti Tourbillons that will be produced, and they are priced at approximately €312,000.

The 100 pieces that will be produced besides the 150 we just discussed will allow customers to personalise their own at each point of sale using a digital configurator. Customisation options will cover the case, dial, dashboard, hands, strap, and even some movement parts.
