IWC Pilot’s Watch Chronograph 41 TOP GUN, Now In Mojave Desert Style
IWC introduces a new addition to its 'Colours of Top Gun' collection, taking inspiration from the Mojave Desert. Known for its bold and innovative designs, this latest release offers a reduction in case size while maintaining the distinctive ceramic case and unique aesthetics that define the Top Gun series.
Aesthetics
The IWC Pilot's Watch Chronograph 41 TOP GUN Mojave Desert Edition features a striking sand beige ceramic case, reminiscent of the desert landscape, with titanium accents on the crown and pushers.
The overall color scheme is "inspired by the flight suits of naval aviators and the desert landscape around China Lake, home to the U.S. Navy's famous TOPGUN flight school."
The matte brown dial is adorned with beige indices and markings, offering excellent legibility in all lighting conditions. Subdials for running seconds, chronograph functions, and day-date display add functionality to the design. Luminous elements ensure readability even in low-light situations.
It offers the legibility of the Mark and Big Pilot watches, but with a more "wearable" size at 41.9mm.
Movement
Powered by the reliable Calibre 69380, the watch maintains the same movement as its larger predecessors.
This automatic column-wheel chronograph movement operates at a frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour and boasts a 46-hour power reserve. The titanium caseback protects the movement from magnetism, ensuring its precision. Moreover, It comes with a sand-colored rubber strap with a textile inlay, secured by a titanium pin buckle.
Availability & Pricing
This new watch is part of the permanent collection. The retail price is €12,000 in line with previous offerings in IWC's iconic lineup.
