H. Moser & Cie. and Sincere Fine Watches gift us a limited Purple Enamel dial
H. Moser & Cie. is one of the most attractive independent watchmakers for its dedication to horological artistry, seamlessly blending traditional techniques with innovative designs. The brand’s commitment to minimalism and mechanical excellence has solidified its reputation in the luxury market. In honor of Sincere Fine Watches' 70th anniversary, H. Moser & Cie. has released a special edition timepiece, limited to 20 units, that encapsulates the brands' ethos of precision, elegance, and timeless design.
Aesthetics
The Pioneer Perpetual Calendar Concept MD Purple Enamel Sincere Platinum Jubilee Edition features a captivating purple fumé “Grand Feu” enamel dial, a first for the Pioneer collection. The dial color, with its deep, hammered texture is achieved through a meticulous process of engraving and multiple firings in a furnace.
Complemented by gold hands and minimalistic indicators, the watch looks very sophisticated to my eyes. The 18K red gold case with black DLC-treated titanium add that modern edge that is typical of Moser. The 42.8mm size is not for everyone but will ensure a stylish fit. The open caseback showcases the movement and Sincere’s 70th anniversary logo.
As expected, the partially skeletonized hands filled with Super-LumiNova enhance readability in low-light conditions.
Movement
At the heart of this timepiece lies the HMC 808 hand-wound manufacture movemen.. This manual-winding caliber offers an impressive seven-day power reserve, facilitated by its double barrel design. The movement integrates the calendar mechanism, allowing for the date to be adjusted at any time without damaging the movement.
