Origins

Nacre Capital, a venture builder specializing in AI-driven deep technology companies, established Everywatch. The new platform originated from a collaboration of top tech investors and watch experts. Key figures include Howard Morgan, Chairman of Nacre, co-founder of Renaissance Capital and First Round Capital, and early investor in companies like Uber, LinkedIn, and Square; Chabi Nouri, ex-CEO of Piaget; Alexander Friedman, a collector and founder of AF. Luxury Consulting, along with other prominent collectors and tech leaders. They aimed to solve the problem of unreliable information in the pre-owned watch market. 

Database

Developed over two years, including a beta stage, Everywatch is based on an extensive historical watch sale database with actual sales prices of over 500,000 watches and aggregates new watches coming on to the market in real time from over 250 auction houses and 150 online marketplaces and dealers.Its data goes back 1989 and compiles data from more than 350,000 historical lots. The company plans to continually improve its data. While currently focusing on auction-based pricing, they intend to broaden their pricing insights to encompass various marketplaces.

Everywatch, accessible via a web browser, is a valuable resource for watch collectors, data enthusiasts, auction experts, and those who view watches as investments. It provides an unbiased, data-centric platform for understanding the availability and market values of collectible watches, aiding in making well-informed decisions at auctions.

This platform acts as an extensive digital dashboard, offering a detailed market overview, valuation tools, research on over 1 million watches, their auction histories, and management of personal or commercial collections. Additional features include watch tracking, notifications for new listings, and thorough auction performance analyses. The tool also facilitates a broader view by analysing entire brand performances and preserving auction specifics such as final pricing and images.

As auctioneers, we can now easily and quickly value watches and identify trends. And as a collector, I can now track the value of my full collection daily and also be notified when the watch I have been looking to buy for years comes on to the market.”

Users can also explore detailed histories by reference number, model, brand, and specifics like case material and size.

A practical application could involve researching high-value watches, such as a vintage Patek Philippe Nautilus, before bidding or buying. The platform eases access to valuation data and links directly to marketplaces and auction catalogs for interested watches.

Everywatch provides free and premium access tiers, with the premium tier priced at $50 monthly. Currently, a two-month premium trial is offered without requiring a credit card, an opportunity likely to attract enthusiasts.
