Baltic launches the Hermétique Tourer a vintage-inspired versatile collection
For those that have never seen or read about this manufacturer, Baltic is a well-regarded French micro-brand. They are known for affordable yet outstanding offerings since its establishment in 2106. Actually, their Aquascape model is celebrated as one of the top value-for-money divers available. The brand is recognised by enthusiasts for its impeccable mix of contemporary craftsmanship and vintage aesthetics.
Aesthetics
Baltic is now launching a new collection: the Hermétique Tourer. It mirrors Baltic's signature style, blending contemporary and vintage elements. This versatile timepiece showcases a 316L steel 37mm case complemented by a double domed sapphire crystal.
Out of its total 10.8mm slim profile, 2.5mm is attributed to the crystal. One standout feature is the integrated crown: The watchmaker took the additional effort of designing the crown to be recessed into the case "right" flank, making these pieces easy to manage on either wrist. Baltic offers four dial color choices: green, blue, beige, and brown. These dials are accentuated by an outer railway sector, a matte inner section, luminous hour markers, and chic syringe-style hands.
The Hermétique Tourer can be paired with either a steel band (with flat links or beads of rice) or a tropic-style strap made of FKM rubber.
Movement
Driving the Hermétique Tourer is the calibre 9039 Miytota manufacture movement, consistent with many Baltic watches. This timepiece also offers water resistance up to 150 meters, ensuring durability and versatility.
